KKIG Holding at the Běchovice – Prague Race

On Saturday, 24 September 2023, we took on another challenge and joined the traditional Běchovice to Prague race. Now in its 127th year, the Běchovice – Prague race holds the record for the longest continuous racing tradition in the world. Thanks to the convenient location of our warehouse park in Běchovice, we had the advantage of being just a few steps from the starting line of this annual sporting event, so we didn't hesitate to take part with full commitment.

We set off with determination at 11:30. Right after a short, gentle downhill from the start came the first tough climb at the one-kilometre mark, a sign of what was to come. Another challenging climb at the three-kilometre mark in Dolní Počernice, followed by the climb in Hrdlořezy, opened the second, tougher half of the course. From the 7.5 km mark, runners faced the well-known "Hrdlořezák" climb, which lasted almost all the way to the finish. After the race we caught our breath, full of impressions from this unforgettable event. We ran not only out of a passion for sport, but also with pride in showing off our new brand to the public. We're already looking forward to future sporting challenges and opportunities to present our company in a healthy, active spirit.

But it isn't just about running — it's also about giving back. The financial donation we made to support the Běchovice – Prague race isn't just an expression of our love of sport; it's also about keeping alive the tradition of this unique race, which brings generations together and creates unforgettable memories.
