We celebrated the ceremonial laying of the foundation stone for the AIRDEPO project, marking the start of construction on a BREEAM-certified logistics park just four minutes from Václav Havel Airport Prague, in the village of Tuchoměřice.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the AIRDEPO logistics park is a significant milestone in the development of logistics and transport infrastructure. The ribbon-cutting moment marked the start of a new chapter in transforming this strategic site near Václav Havel Airport into a modern logistics hub.
The event brought together a number of prominent figures, including representatives from the municipality, business, and finance. Our CEO, Filip Koch, said: "This groundbreaking is further proof of our commitment to investing in infrastructure that supports economic growth, and we're proud to contribute to the development of this dynamic sector. We'd also like to thank the municipality of Tuchoměřice for its cooperation, without which this project would not have been possible." The ribbon was cut by Pavel Cihlář (Mayor of Tuchoměřice), David Šorm (corporate banker at UniCredit Bank), Michal Král (Managing Director of GOLDBECK Bau), and Vladimír Jaroš (CEO of WOOD & Company).
AIRDEPO's eight buildings cover a total built-up area of 36,243 m² and are set to become a key player in logistics and warehousing. The park will be built to a high standard with a strong focus on future tenants, offering an individual approach and premium service.
Handover of the completed buildings will continue through the end of 2025.
