Family Business Gathering, November 2019

We attended a conference and gathering of family businesses, organised by the Family Business Centre at the University of Economics, Prague.

The event also announced the creation of a strategic council made up of representatives from large family businesses. The council will act as an advisory body, supporting and raising the profile of family businesses, which drive the Czech economy and are major employers. The gathering took place at a beautiful chateau in Žďár nad Sázavou, hosted by Count Constantin Kinský. The atmosphere was genuinely pleasant, and all the speakers gave thought-provoking talks. We're glad we could take part, and proud that, as a family business ourselves, we contribute to the 60–80% of Czech GDP generated by family businesses each year.
